The outer frame of the water curtain is made of aluminum alloy or galvanized sheet, The purpose of selecting these two materials is to prevent rusting. The structure of the outer frame is carefully designed. There is a slot for installing the water inlet pipe inside the upper frame. The water inlet pipe can be fixed inside the upper frame, and the water inlet is in the middle. After the water flows from the water inlet, it is evenly distributed to the whole paper curtain through the water inlet pipe. When installing the outer frame, first place a row of horizontal paper curtains in the upper frame. These horizontal paper curtains play the role of water separation, Make sure that the whole paper curtain evenly seeps downward, then put the prepared paper curtain side by side into the connected frame, put the spliced paper curtain vertically, drill holes on the four sides of the water curtain and fix it with air nails, so that a water curtain is completed.

  • The thickness of cooling curtain is mainly 10cm, 15cm and 20cm. We use 150mm odor-free cooling material.

  • We use 150 mm thick evaporative cooling medium CELdek (special honeycomb filter layer, Sweden’s high-tech patented product) to fully exchange heat with water, so the cooling effect can reach the optimal level.

  • Swedish imported materials actually have better cooling effect than domestic ones, and the price is also relatively higher;

  • The outer frame material of the cooling water curtain mainly includes aluminum alloy, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, special profile and aluminum plate processing. The quality of special profile is better than that of aluminum plate processing; Stainless steel is processed and formed from plates. The stainless steel outer frame needs to be identified from the authenticity of stainless steel.

  • Firmly determine the quality of the water curtain paper, and touch it back and forth with your hands flat on the water curtain sheet. The quality of the hard paper is better than that of the hard paper. Dark materials are better than light materials in color.

  • In order to deceive customers, some manufacturers use domestic water curtains as imported materials for sale, resulting in shorter service life of water curtains (5-10 years for normal water curtains).

Since the resistance of air inlet through the empty window is much smaller than that through the wet curtain, in order to ensure that the air passes through the wet curtain as much as possible to achieve the purpose of cooling, there should not be too large gap on the opposite side of the negative pressure fan (that is, the side of the water curtain).

  • The distance between the curtain fan and the fan should not be too far, not more than 50 meters, and must be within 50 meters. Otherwise, the cooling effect will be greatly reduced

      

Precautions for water curtain

 

The water curtain is composed of a kind of polymer water curtain paper, while the wet curtain paper is a special product, which is processed through some special processing. Its service life can reach more than five or six years, and it is corrosion resistant and has strong structure

Water curtain negative pressure fan can comprehensively solve some problems such as poor ventilation and high temperature in the room, so what should be paid attention to when it is used for the first time?

  • The water tank (or pool) shall be fully cleaned manually to remove the dirt and sundries in it, so as to prevent the water spraying pipe from blocking;

  • Check the water pump filter in the water tank (or pool) to ensure that it is in good condition. If the filter is damaged, replace the filter;

  • Check the condition of each connecting valve of the water tank (or pool), and adjust the opening/closing according to the instructions;

  • If conditions permit, it is better to clean and maintain the water curtain and check the water spray pipe inside.

Before shutting down the machine every day, let the fan continue to run for 30 minutes or more after cutting off the water source, and then shut down the machine after the wet curtain is completely dry, which is conducive to preventing the growth of algae, thus avoiding blocking the water pump, filter and water distribution pipe. Algae can grow on any light, wet and bare surface. Here are some suggestions to prevent its growth:

Water curtain

Do not use water from open ponds;

Use water with good quality;

Cover the water supply tank to prevent it from being exposed to the sun and entering dust in the air;

Cut off the water source and let the fan run for a period of time;

The water self-sufficiency system is isolated from other systems;

The wet curtain shall avoid direct sunlight.

Water Quality

The PH value of circulating water is kept between 6-9 (pure water with a PH value of 7). If the PH value is too high or too low, it will damage the wet curtain; The calcium carbonate precipitation contained in hard water does not damage the wet curtain. It is necessary to maintain the concentration of sodium chloride (soft water) within a limited range. If the concentration exceeds (or about) 50000 ppm, salt substances will be precipitated on the wet curtain, thus reducing the airflow it passes through; The concentration of salt in circulating water must be within 50000 ppm, and the concentration of salt in mixed water must be within 40000 ppm.

If the dust in the air tends to block the passage of airflow, the normal operation of the system can usually remove these obstacles. If necessary, spray it with low pressure steam or scrub it gently. Never use chemicals such as chlorine or other pungent smell to clean.
